We help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright

It’s exciting being involved with us. We believe that through everyday adventure, young people regularly experience new challenges that enrich their lives and meet lifelong friends through Scouting.

Welcome to 1st Fittleworth

We are a thriving and well established Scout group based in Fittleworth, West Sussex and are part of the Petworth and Pulborough Scout District. We have over 60 young people aged 6-14 from the local village and surrounding area join us to experience everyday adventure and take part in our top quality Scouting programme.

Our thriving and active Scout Group has a team of hard working and dedicated volunteer leaders who produce exciting and dynamic programmes for the young people of the group, teaching life skills as well as having plenty of fun along the way! We partake in regular meetings, camping trips and day activities.

Being set in the heart of the South Downs National Park we have the ability to make use of the surrounding park areas for outside activities and have some stunning scenery to backdrop camps and other fun sessions.
